Had the pleasure of staying at the Boonville Hotel mid-week and dining at the restaurant. What a special place. Food was incredible. Rooms were cozy and quirky. Stayed in the dog-friendly studio. Perfect for pups! Can’t recommend enough.

On our periodic drive out to the coast today from our Cloverdale home on route 128, we just happened to stop at the Boonville Hotel in search of a cup of coffee. We've driven this route many, many times but never really noticed this low-key place. Wow, were we in for a pleasant surprise! It was late Sunday afternoon, yet the place was filled with positive energy and happy customers of all ages and stripes. "Terri" is the owner, a warm and gregarious lady. She treated us like family and, behind the bar, friendly mixologist "V" passionately created specialty coffee drinks that were out of this world. We had eaten elsewhere just an hour earlier so we didn't order a meal, but we engaged with friendly patrons sitting nearby who were all smiles about their dining experience. The facility is clean and decorated beautiful, including the all-important restrooms. The owners know what they are doing. We will be back for sure, and maybe for an overnight getaway at this hotel in this cute little town!

This is a review solely of the restaurant as we did not stay there but if the sane care and love goes into the rooms, it must be special. We stopped in for dinner and were wowed by the quality of the food. There's a set menu without choices but we knew that and were fine with it. On the night we visited, it was chicken, but so wonderfully prepared it seemed like a new treat. The wine list as you would expect had an excellent selection at reasoble markups. The service was outstanding; warm, friendly and eager to explain and give us information. All in all, a great spot and we will be back.

Didn't stay at the hotel but stopped in for dinner with a group. Food was fantastic. Even the most critical diners that we were with spoke highly of everything. The price is very reasonable and we all left full and happy. I could eat my body weight in the gnocchi that was served (everyone let out a collective "yum" at first bite). It may have been the best bite of food that I've had in years. Outdoor space was beautiful but a little chilly on a breezy night. Blankets are available to help keep warm but patio heaters would be ideal. Only suggestion to the restaurant would be to provide more bread for the table. The dishes, at least at our meal, really lent themselves to sopping up with bread at the end and we all longed for more than we had. Service was great and friendly. You should absolutely visit here if you're in the immediate area. And if you're at all nearby, make the drive out for a great evening and meal.

The 5-course prix fixe dinner was nice. It’s a bit expensive, but all the ingredients were tasty and fresh. The wait time between dishes were a bit long (sometimes over 15minutes).
